Financial Assistance

 
 

Are you in need of financial assistance?

Here at Ouachita Hills College, we strive to financially assist students in finishing their education through various means.¹

 

Student Financial Responsibility

OHC will assist students in their financial planning. However, responsibility for payment of college expenses rests with the student, regardless of any assistance which may be expected or received from parents, OHC, or other sources.

Before registering, each student must submit a “Financial Planning Worksheet” to finance@ohc.org signed by the student indicating acknowledgment of this responsibility. Student financial responsibility includes awareness of information on student costs and means of paying those costs. Download the “Financial Planning Worksheet” and email the filled out form to finance@ohc.org.

 Student Sponsor

OHC encourages our students to find sponsors (individuals, churches, organizations) that are willing to assist in the tuition costs.

You can use the sponsor letter template below and once you have a sponsor please have your sponsor fill out the sponsor agreement and send to finance@ohc.org.

 

Canvassing Programs

OHC has canvassing programs throughout the year where students can have the opportunity to pay down their tuition costs.

Worthy Student Fund

The worthy student grant is funded by donations received during the year. The scholarship was established to help those who, have done everything possible to pay for the semester bill, have no other outside financial help, and they still owe the school more than the minimum required for the coming semester registration.  The amount granted to each student is based on the funds available and on the student’s needs. 

In order to qualify for Worthy Students funds the student must: 

  • Submit a work plan with details of what they are doing to raise funds during the break to pay for their tuition the following semester.

  • Submit a report after break is over, listing their efforts and how much they received from it.

  • Apply for Worthy Student funds at least a week before registration day semester.

  • Pay to the school with funds available.
