Admissions Requirements
Before applying, prospective students should ensure they meet the following requirements.
Academic Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Graduate from a secondary school
- Possess an equivalent diploma
- Successfully complete the GED exam
Minimum requirements include:
- High school GPA of 2.50 or higher
- ACT composite score of 18 or higher, or
- SAT score of at least 400 on each section
The writing section of the SAT or ACT is required. Students who have already taken the SAT/ACT may meet this requirement by completing the ACCUPLACER WritePlacer test.
Physical Examination
All accepted students must submit documentation of a physical examination completed by a health practitioner.
Transfer Students
Students transferring from another recognized college or university must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
Applicants with fewer than 24 semester credits (or 36 quarter credits) will be evaluated based on both their secondary school records and college coursework.
